Introducing the 2025 Ezone 98 v8. It's more of what you love about Ezone. It's everything you have come to expect from Yonex. With a thinner frame geometry than the 100 models, the Ezone 98 is built for a solid intermediate/advanced to advanced male or an expert/pro female. The Ezone 98 delivers punch for winners and has lots of feel to let loose a surprise drop shot or topspin lob. This racquet has great punch on the volleys too. This a great all-court attackers model.
2G-NamdTM + Minolon. 2G-NamdTM Speed graphite provides enhanced ball speed without sacrificing comfort. Minolon is a fine fibre spun by the minomushi bagworm that increases vibration dampening. This combination of material ensuries a plush feel and explosive power.
New Shaft Design - An elongated tapered inner-frame gives the new Ezone more packeting and feel. This gives you a better feel on ball impact resulting in greater precision.
Isometric Head - Compared to a conventional round frame, Yonex’s signature square-shaped ISOMETRICTM racquet generates a 7% larger sweet spot that delivers greater control without sacrificing power. Add 1% more sweetspot with the new, wider top section of the frame.

Ray's Assessment- This model is in the same category as the Blade 98, Pure Strike 98, Extreme Pro, etc. However, the Ezone 98 provides a bit more power and a bit a more comfort than these other models. If you want a more control/spin oriented frame, consider the Yonex V-core 98(same weight and balance with more control).
